What better way to launch a new decade than delving into the history of Canada’s oldest Chinatown? Victoria councillor Charlayne Thornton-Joe brings personal insight into a review of the fascinating historical development of Victoria’s Chinatown. A third-generation Victorian who has a “passion for serving people,” Thornton-Joe has earned many awards for her service to community.
The public is invited to attend this luncheon.
